Survivor

This week I survived a tornado, 1 1/2 days without power, 1 1/2 days without a toilet, falling through the floor, over a dozen chigger bites, the 17th week of pregnancy, a husband constantly study for his national boards test, and lots of time with a toddler that suddenly loves to throw thing (food, rocks, toys, etc.). While there have been moments that weren't so great, like late night bathroom runs to the nearest open grocery store, these problems have mostly worked themselves out. In the end, we are grateful for our problems and wouldn't want to trade them for most other people's problems. It is weeks like this that add a little adventure into our lives.

WOW! Congrats on the pregnancy and surviving your week. Sounds crazy! Finding out the gender is my only favorite part about pregnancy. :)

They always say the best curse is to live in interesting times. But if you can survive this, you can survive just about anything. And it passes, as you noticed. It passes and you move on to the next emergency.

I've come to the conclusion that you can live through anything if you have God and each other.

Congratulations on your baby girl. It's going to be a whole new adventure. They're more difficult, but you get to dress them up more, which is fun. Take care of yourself, and make my nephew give you lots and lots of hugs and kisses for all that you do.
