Way more of Joseph's work then you wanted to see
I, Joseph, am putting together a mid-summer presentation of all the research I have done, so I took pictures of the electrical box I have been building. As it is just as easy to e-mail them from my phone to the blog as to my regular e-mail, I decided to share them with everyone.

Ok, so you have a lot of wires going to a box. What does the box do, and what are you trying to prove with it?
I am not trying to prove anything with the pictures, just trying to get them onto my powerpoint presentation. The box does a number of things. Among them are: house the stage motor control units, house the relays to control the vacuum pumps and the computer inputs to do so, connect the turbo-molecular pumps controls to the computer, provide manual override switches for a number of things (pumps, argon backfill, stage motor power supply, and detector power), house the gauge for the sampling chamber and its included interlock system, house the readout for two different low vacuum gauges, and keep all of the components protected and properly ventilated. And yes, it does result in a large number of wires.
Wow...I think my brain exploded looking at those pics! Just goes to show that I have not a single clue when it comes to electronics. LOL.
